Poured into Me!

The sun is shining, the weather is very nice and I'm still here. In my mind all is right with the world.
I have so much to be happy about.
I spent time with my family this past weekend and had a great time.
My hubby and I had the opportunity to make a road trip of our time together and visit some places along the way.  It was the first time in a long time that we've been able to share some quality time.  On top of that it's only the beginning.
We returned home and I spent an amazing day with a special group of women that shared a great bonding experience.  There were so many women from different lifestyles, backgrounds and life experiences all together for one reason.  There was no judging, no bickering just a purely selfless day of sharing and bonding.
Keep in mind these are women that I've seen or interacted with on facebook, some I've never met in person until today. So it was like a reunion of reconnecting face to face.  Ahhh, the wonders of technology.
We had the opportunity to revert to our childhood and have fun while doing it.
It isn't something that anyone can ever anticipate happening.
It was a day for women to allow themselves to be pampered no spoiled rotten like a childhood should be.
We didn't focus on our businesses, families, employers or anything other than the moment we were in.
For the first time in months I was able to breathe and it felt good.
We were treated to facials, nails, hand scrubs, relaxation breathing exercises, motivational session, make-up, spa preparation, foot reflexology - all kinds of great things!!
I got some eyelashes which was new for me and my pretty nails.

I can't begin to tell you how great it felt to just relish in being a woman/little girl.
since I always host an event, it was a treat to be treated.
I even got a massage and realized that its something I need to do for myself more often.
Even my massage therapist said I was too tight.
I played some childhood games and almost took off the nose of  a sister-friend while playing hula hoops.
We played, jacks, jumped rope and paddle ball brought back so many  memories of a live with no cares or worries.  You know that I had to have the paddle ball for myself.  I'm still good!!
The numerous gifts we received that were in addition to the ones we gave one another were amazing.  We received things like wine, trips, books, massage coupons, gift certificates and so much more.  On top of that it was free.  So many wonderful people sponsored this event and the contents - pretty AMAZING!!!
I came home totally relaxed and ready to take on the world.
I came home and played with my new/old toy - paddle ball!! :)
All I can do is say a sincere and heartfelt  THANK YOU to Kurundi & Shandrena!!!!
