The tornado that recently passed through our area is like the ones raging through the families that have a loved one dealing with a breast cancer diagnosis. Destroying preciously built families, trust and relationships.
Whipping through fast and steady, tearing down what has been built, developed, loved and nurtured over a long period of time.
What they have come to know as the norm has now been totally disrupted and for some ruined.
Let's do what we can as our own form of FEMA and make donations to support their fight, plight and rebuilding stages. We all have a storm to weather, yet not all are as devastating in such a short period of time.
Let these families know that we do care and we are willing to give them our empathy and show of support and not look down on them with a sigh of relief that is isn't happening to us.
